Hi, my name’s Michael. I’m a documentary style wedding photographer from South Wales. You might be thinking, what is documentary wedding photography? It means that I’ll capture your day for what it is, without intrusion or getting you to pose in ways that just aren’t you! This way, you end up with a set of images that are truly you, and not some list of the best wedding photos!

Planning your wedding and booking suppliers can be an overwhelming experience. I’ve made booking your wedding photography and film really simple by offering four packages that can be tailored to get the best fit for you.

I think it’s really important to check out some of my weddings and blogs to make sure I’m the right style for you. Then ask me as many questions as you can think of, even if it’s not about photography as I might know someone, who knows someone who can help! Ask me over email, telephone, video call or we can meet up for a coffee (or beer).

Hopefully by then I’ve answered all your questions and we’ve had a good chat about your wedding and we’re both super excited and can’t wait for the big day! I’ll send you the booking form and T&Cs for you to read over and request a small booking fee to hold your date. Once that’s done, we both sit back, relax with a cool drink and look forward to your wedding.

We were quite intimidated by picking a photographer and we knew we didn’t want lots of incredibly formal photos of us, we wanted to capture our friends and family having a good time too. Mike was recommended to us after our original photographer could no longer make our new date, and we were not disappointed! We were so pleased to have Mike photograph our special day.  Although we hadn’t met him before the wedding, we immediately felt comfortable, he was welcoming and friendly.  Shaun usually hates having his photo taken but he was really relaxed and most of the time we didn’t realise Mike was there! He’s managed to capture some wonderful moments and was even a pro at making sure my wedding dress train was always looking its best in the photos. We really wanted some photos in front of St Audries once it was dark with the candle light and he was more than happy to oblige with amazing results.  For me the photographer is the second most important thing for the day, these are the part of it you keep forever (as well as your husband of course!) and we were so pleased that we choose Mike to capture these amazing moments.
